No Sound

I would like to be able to use winamp to play cd's. My mp3 files play just fine. When I use a cd in my drive I get no sound. I have windows xp and media player. I have turned off the default for the media player but I still can't get any sound from winamp! The song list loads up on winamp but still no sound.. Help

Winamp 2.91

Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Plugins -> Input -> Nullsoft CD/Linein plugin -> config:
Checkmark: enable digital audio extraction

Close & reopen Winamp for changes to take effect.
