If you want the Mp3 to open a webpage on play, click on the Mp3 in the playlist once. Then hit Alt + 3 and use an Id3v2 tag. Type in the url to the webpage you want to appear in the minibrowser in the URL field. Make sure that you have an internet connection established and that your Winamp internet settings are correct.
If you have an mp3 that opens a webpage upon playing it and you don't want it to open, all you have to do is click on the mp3 once in the playlist and press Alt + 3. Then simply remove whatever is in the URL field. |

But if I write a URL (for example http://www.winamp.com) in the URL row, nothing happen! But one year ago I saw a mp3 that could do this! I think in the id3tag was written:
^http://www.winamp.com But so, it doesn't work - it must be similar! Do you know what I must write in there? |

Let me explain clearer. You must make sure the [Minibrowser] is open.
Select the mp3 you want to have open a webpage. Press [Alt + 3]. In the [URL] field, put in the url you want to appear in the Minibrowser. (eg. "http://google.com" ; without the quotation marks, no special characters are needed) Then, close and restart Winamp. Play the mp3 with the edited Id3 tag, and look at the Minibrowser window. It should have gone to http://google.com. |
