Actually now that I think about it, is there a way to password protect winamp as a program?
I mean have no access whatsoever unless you enter a password. |

There are ways and means of encrypting .zip files so that the skin can't be openend, I have a program that will encode any zip file so that it can't be openend without the right decryption key.
There is one problem with it however, you can't use it on skins you submit to this site, or any other that I Know of, mainly because when you submit a skin to here, the zip get's opened so a screen shot can be taken of it, now as the zip is now encrypted to prevent you from opening it, the whole system fails and your skin get's rejected as a bad archive. |

WinampPassword is not a plug-in that I use so I don't know specifics about it. Try this in Winamp…
Ctrl+P (for preferences) > Plug-ins > General Purpose If I am right WinampPasswaord would be listed in the right plane, from there you can bring up the configuration window. Screenshots from WinampPassword home page. |
