Autoupdate in Winamp?

Hi,

I was wondering, if it is possible to improve our old good Winamp with one more function... Would it be possible to add some kind of an autoupdate function in next version of Winamp? It would be easier to check if there is new version of the player straight from the main Winamp window, instead of checking it on the website.
What do you think about it?

ctrl+p > preferences > setup > check for new versions of winamp at startup ???

I Rather Do It Manualy (check my own in website) auto update will mess so much,, it's like having a Spyware.... I Say,, No To Your Wish!
