Yeah I get this Oops crap too. Mine was after I loaded a unicode titled mp3 and then it went to crap. It won't disappear even after a reinstall too. When I exit I get this infinite beeping until I end task in taskmanager. Infinite loop? It shows up no matter what else I've tried... guess an uninstall then install might work, here goes.

I'm getting the same thing ... it happens every time I add a new file to a playlist, everytime a new song plays, and everytime winamp even starts. Reinstalls haven't worked. The weirdest thing is that when I double-click on a song, it (a) changes the name of the song immediately to another song on the list, and (b) plays a third song that is in no way related to the original song, or the song that appeared ... really strange.

Bug reports better help - everyone send one!

Try deleting main.dat in the ml directory (under plugins) and then rebuild your playlist.

That worked with an identical error in winamp 2.91

That won't work for Winamp3.
Winamp (2.x) and Winamp3 are two completely different programs, and those dir/files don't exist in Winamp3.

If anything, the equivalent file to delete would be metatdata.ndb in the wacs\db dir, and then you'd need to rebuild the library from scratch. Probably best to just delete the entire wacs\db dir, reinstall, then rebuild the library. Simply reinstalling won't fix it, that's for sure. We always recommend uninstalling c/o Add/Remove Programs, deleting the Winamp3 dir, then reinstalling without Internationalization or any 3rd-party components/skins at first . . .
