using winamp vis plugins in other applications

Not that I dont want to use winamp, but I have other needs that would be nice to use winamp vis plugins (obviously not the ones that come with winamp).

I would like to know legalities of this, or if its even possible. If so, is there currently any documentation on the subject? Thanks in advance...

If it is the default AVS plug-in that comes with Winamp, then you will have to contact a Nullsoft representative. If it's a different plug-in not made by Nullsoft, then you will have to contact the plug-in's author.

If you're talking about AVS, it works with Musicmatch (I was bored, wanted to see if it would work)
