Can someone please tell me how much downloads winamp shoutcast radio takes up? I tried to work it out for myself, but couldn't. ie, 24Kbps, for 60secs is 1 meg?, and so an hour of radio listening is 86meg??? Is that right? thanks a lot all canaan |

24kbps (per listener) = 3 KBps (K bytes) = 180 KB per min = 10.8 MB per hour

There are 8 bits (b) in a byte (B). 24kbps is 3KBps.
128kbps = 16KBps = 960KB per Min = 56.32 MB per Hour |

Notice I used capital "B" for bytes, and small "b" for bits. |
