Shoutcasting source

Hello there,

I am new to shoutcasting, but I recently set up a shoutcast server on my 2nd box, running gentoo linux. my question is, is there any way to make that box be the source for the stream? the only way i can do it now is by using the source dsp plugin for winamp2 off of my 1st box, which runs a dual boot, gentoo linux and windows xp. obviously this is less than satisfactory, since i can only source the stream when i am in xp (which i don't like to be in most of the time). wine does not emulate winamp well. anyway, if anyone knows how i can do this, i'd be very grateful.
Otherwise, i was wondering if there is any code available for the winamp dsp plugin, or for any similar source streamers like it. i was thinking that maybe i could write my own, standalone, source streaming bridge.

thanks,
erich
