Stuttering wma files WA 2.91

WA will play the wma files, but it sounds like a cd is skipping
the files were encoded w/media player 9 and work well in mp, but not wa

P3 1 ghz
256 ram
windows xp pro

2 options:

1) replace the current in_wm.dll decoder with this older one from 2.50

Benefits: working eq, dsp/vis plugins, plays through winamp's output system (whereas the latest dll is hard-coded by Microsoft to use it's own internal waveOut) . . .

2) Remove in_wm.dll completely and (as long as you installed video support) add WMA to the extension list in: Prefs -> Plugins -> Input -> DirectShow decoder -> config, thus letting in_dshow.dll deal with wma instead (same benefits as above).
