I just started using the software and it seems to work find. ID3 tags work fine for me. (for those that I bothered to set, I just use the file name usually because I'm lazy.

I really want to beable to allow user requests via the web. It would also be nice to beable to see which song will play next, or any other status info.

Since I cannot see the source I do not know how difficult it would be to implement, but I am guessing partial support can be done easily. I think it is a matter of exposing some important variables to the user like which position it is on in the play list.

I was also thinking of writing a perl script frontend. I figure I can set my playlits to no suffle then do it my self.
Then when there is a request, I have to figure out which position the song is at (from the log file), modify the playlist, (maybe reshuffle), then send the USR1 signal. Ofcourse there can be problems if it is just at the end of a song.

oh also, is there a way to set the log to a finite size so it only shows the last 24 hours or whatever.
