sc_trans linux sample rate bug

I get this error sometimes. Sometimes it is printed serveral times at once.

"Warning: input file samplerate is 22050 Hz, must be 44100!"

Somtimes it is not 22050, somtimes it gives a weird number like -1082131772

This also is not specific to one file.
Some mp3 files always get this message.
Sometimes a mp3 plays fine, then gets this error later, then is able to play it fine again later.

I am running this on linux.
