What exactly does USR1 signal do?

But I wanted it to service the requests in the order it was made. Also, I cannot just move all the songs above the requested one to the bottom because I would skip songs.
I need to move all the songs above (and including)the current song to the bottom.
I just have to keep track of requests. I can save the currentsong when a request is made and the number of requests that have been made. Then I can no where to place the new request.
This would involve an extra file, and I was going to have a seperate playlist.
but I was thinking, I could put this all in one file. I could save extra data in comments on the actual playlist.
I could even have a flag like, R for request and P for regular, so I can know if the song on the playlist is placed there regularaly or from a request
