Real Noughts and Crosses

Done and done.
There about 30 different games that it can play (2 lots of 15, rotated 180 degrees). Noughts win sometimes (as it plays its first two moves logically), but crosses never win (as the first two moves are random).

Enjoy, everyone. And overwrite the other version I released.

Krash (and Telek) some great work here. Perhaps one of the most original presets I've seen here.

I am totally impressed with your coding ability, the logic in all the per_frame code is well beyond me though

Top stuff

pass that back to telek to fix - he wrote all the core code - he can tweak the init commands =]

EDIT: It was simple after all. Just had to rearrange some things. I've updated the link above.
EDIT2: Or would have, if the board would let me. New version below.

Updated to work first time through.
Also changed a couple games to remove *really* stupid moves. Crosses is still not smart though.

I'm just working on some finishing touches, just to tidy it up a little, I'll have it up in a few days (exams and such...)

Got it working, awsome! What would be nice is a random transmition effect from one game to the next, before the screen blackens

I'm gonna let you handle that, Zylot - there's enough effects in there as it is, and the per-frame code is 4 or 5 pages long =]

Oh can we make it have the grid lines drawn on startup too.

then it can be bundled with MD1.04

Revision - Ending transition

Ah ha.
Finally I get a moment to post this up here.
Congrats Krash on the startup grid lines, I just couldn't figure out how to get them going... .
I incorporated that with this addition too.
This has each of the nine segments wrapping up in the order the game was played, then a zoom fade to finish.

Zylot, you're welcome to add a random-ness to this if you feel..

Yippee!

Aww, shucks!

No, I couldn't help myself, after the last post, I had to add some random finishes on the end.

There are only 3, but I think we've run out of available user variables (I didn't know there was a limit!) which makes it kind of hard to do much more...

anyway, here 'tis

hmm.. just don't use variables.

You'll hate yourself for life when looking at the code, but it works

Anyways, I could add more effects now, probably.. I tried before but I am on a shitty comp with a bad monitor and little patients with it ;(
