If the Winamp/DSP combo not on the smae machine as the DNAS can connect to the DNAS, then we know where the problem is; the Winamp/DSP combo on the DNAS machine.

I'm puzzled because you mentioned the DNAS machines Winamp/DSP combo works in soundcard input, but not Winamp input.
