Winamp Output PlugIns

heyy ppl,
I was just messing around with a couple of different players, and I noticed MusicMatch has this little option which Levels the volume, so you dont get sudden peaks. I was wondering if there's something like this in Winamp 2.9 (which is still my favorite player), or even something better. I like to sleep with my music on, and I'd love an output plug in which would leven the volume so I wouldn't get some songs blaring while others I can just about hear. I tried the "Direct Sound output v2.2.6" and it's useless when it comes to volume control. So if there's something out there already, love to hear bout it.

Best bet is to use MP3Gain

Though there are Winamp dsp plugins available (Audiostocker, Rocksteady, etc)

ohhh man

The link you forwarded had a post with a link to http://wuzwuz.nuigalway.ie/~mike/win...diostocker.zip

this is a version of AudioStocker, it is now paid, but this one is free. So get it while you can, I fell in love with this one before I got to test RockSteady, i'll test it out later and follow up on that. Thanks a lot on that post man
