Yes and No. I'm saying that the literal Law has been replaced (it was only ever intended for Jews), but the meaning behind the Law (grace) is still relevent.

Yes, it was Jesus yes the great Jesus... But even the great Jesus, in my eyes, his sacrifice does not absolve the horrific crimes done in the Holocaust, in the countless wars, Iraq, what's happening on the streets today.

To me, it just doesn't seem 'worth' all that.

I'm sorry for yelling at you, hun. I just tend to become quite ccontroversial when it comes to certain topics (such as religion, politics, aborion, etc. ) And yes, you do make a point, but like someone else already said, Jesus died only to forgive the sins of those who are his true followers, therefore meaning that it is still up to the individual to ask the lord for forgiveness. Therefore you might ask "Then he really didn't die for all our sins, now did he? So what was the point of him dying for us?". The answer to that is, had Jesus not died for people's sins, then everyone, including his followers were going to hell (because even them were full of sin at the time; one of his apostles even betrayed him), and that's because at that time, the world was filled with corrupted souls then and just about everyone at that time was filled with evil and would go to hell, had jesus not died and gave the people a chance to make themselves holy again and go to heaven.

Well..As I said before, depending on the faith/denomination of someones personal choice of worship..Will also determine the validity of the literal aspect.

Many do take it literally, many don't..I don't think I'm the one to judge whether they are right or wrong.
