Jm

Just wanted to record what a great job JonnyMac has made of modding the forum since he was promoted

His patience, kindness and generosity shine through all the time.

That's all.

Hear! Hear!

Good Winamp plugins by Joonas, DrO and shaneh.
If you're bored go here or, if the boredom is more serious, here.

Uh-oh. Flattery of that sort is usually followed by a request for modship. Don't even ask, it is not worth the initiation. Trust me on this.

Actually, thank you to all. Your comments are very much appreciated.

Please do not PM me for tech support. Any request for tech support through PM will be ignored.

Actually, I've already proposed to JM with an offer of marriage, but he flatly refused, mumbling something under his breath about being heterosexual or some shit like that, and threw the ring I offered him to the ground and walked away, breaking my heart.

LOL.
j/k
Anyway, I think I was the one that "pushed" the most backstage to offer JM his "modship". And thankfully he is now probably one of the most valued members of our little "Mod Squad" that participate in the Winamp Tech-related forums here (outside of DJ Egg, who is a living Tech god).

But that aside, I will not say anything else. I don't want JM to get a swelled head.

Don't email or PM me concerning Winamp. Instead, either start a NEW TOPIC or post a REPLY in the appropriate thread in these forums. This will also benefit others who may have a similar question or problem. But before posting, please first Search the forums and read all FAQs and all Sticky threads.

And don't forget the amount of valuable time he dedicated to providing Tech support, before he even became mod

Absolutely!!! That's the very reason why I requested that he be "modded" when we started a voting thread backstage with the other mods/admins considering new mod candidates.

Also, as JM mentioned above, if anybody actually "requests" modship we usually flatly turn them down. But I had asked JM long ago in a PM (back in 2003 sometime) if he would consider it, and he declined at the time. Thankfully, this last time, he agreed.

[EDIT]
ROTFLMAO!!!
I just now saw your above post, JM.

@ Nunzio

If the diamond is bigger, you probably would have had better luck.
Thanks for pushing backstage
You're right. DJ Egg is the living tech god.
