I am not familiar with SAM3. Anyways, Winamp has cross-fading built in to the DirectSound output plug-in...
  1. Ctrl+P
  2. Plug-ins > Output
  3. double click 'DirectSound output'
  4. Fading tab
  5. click on the various fade options > unckeck or check Enabled
  6. close out of Preferences
The fade button(s) in most modern skins control the 'on end of song' option . Fade controls for the Modern Default skin can be found in the equalizer drawer. Classic skins do not have fade contols, try the NxS XFade control plug-in (alternate download). Can also be used for mod skins that don't have fade controls.

Otherwise, the SqrSoft Advanced Cross-fade is a highly suggested third party cross-fade plug-in. Or, try this plug-in search with crossfade as a keyword. Note : due to the Winamp.com search function being down, that is a Google search.

If it is a compatibility issue with third-party plug-ins there is not much we can tell you. Maybe a different DSP stacker plug-in will work correctly. Or, try contacting the respective plug-in developers/authors and maybe they can suggest something.
