Can I use 2 winamp players

I use sax $ dotty program for my karaoke shows,I play music in between sets.I have a problem when searching for mp3 files while my sax & dotty player is being used.It bogs down stumbles if I have a karaoke track playing.My quistion is can I have 2 players open . One that is in sax & dotty and and onother that I can use for strickly mp3 music files ,would this cure my problem.Thanks

Options>Preferences>General Preferences>then check 'Allow Multiple Instances'

When you click on your Winamp icon again, it should open up a second Winamp media player. That is what you wanted, right?

I have done what you said and it does not do anything different Is it suppose to open 2 winamps.if so it does not .what shoud I try next.

Launch WinAmp again from the start menu
...or...
Hit CTRL ALT N while WinAMp is active.

Either will give you a second instance -- look carefully as it may be atop your first instance (drag it to expose it).
