turned out that my guess at the time was correct and when the ml was split into component parts the menu ids of some parts including what ml_impex was checking for were altered and hence why it stopped showing in the library button menu. should be resolved for the next winamp release *fingers crossed*
(seeing some life in this thread reminded me to have a look into the issue at last as i'd promised to do for a few people a while back)
