Hmm, that's weird.

Did you install Winamp with 'shared settings for all users', or 'separate settings per user'?

Alas, it sounds like the database has got corrupt, and I suggest that you delete it and start again.

With Winamp closed, go to the Winamp\Plugins\Gracenote folder
Delete (or move to some backup folder): cddbplm.idx, cddbplm.pdb
(If you delete cddbpcm.gcf it will just download it from the gracenote server again)

Reopen Winamp

Go to the Playlist Generator config page and start the Scan again.

Wait until it's complete before attempting to use the feature.

Note: The scan requires an internet connection for it to work.
