Further comment regarding same issue.
I manually changed the folder where the music was saved from "\Croce Jim\" to "\Croce, Jim". And I changed the tags to show the artist was "Croce, Jim" instead of "Croce Jim."
At first, it still showed up in WA the same way it did, though when I'd click on a song from the album it wouldn't pay (because it was looking at the old path).
I don't know how to tell it to re-scan the hard drive where the music is saved, so I went to "File | Add Media to Library" and reselected the folder where the music is. It scanned for a moment, then it listed the album with the others in the "Croce, Jim" folder. BUT it still ALSO lists the album under "Croce Jim" even though there is no music in that folder and it can't play if I click on it.
Help!
1. As I posted before, is it possible to change the format of the folder with the artist's name (from "Croce Jim" to "Croce, Jim") automatically when ripping a CD?
2. If a folder is manually changed, how do I tell WA to delete the errant listing?
Hope that made sense. Thanks!
