First I'd like to say that I like to read anybody's opinion, as long we don't flame/bash. At the same time we should realize that it is a bit harder (
but no excuse) to try to express your opinion when a lot of people don't agree with you. At least tiger84 tried, while 8 of 21 voters did not choose for evolution.... Sometimes I have the feeling (but I can be wrong here) that a violation of the forum rules is more often pointed out to someone with a different opinion, than to someone who agrees but uses rather harsh language. I noticed that these kind of situations seem to be handled very well by the female users of this forum. Evolution is bringing them to the top!

Even Adam & Eve were too late to see it all happen. So I guess God was whispering to the various profets & writers of the bible all night long? If he was really so eager to convince mankind of His existence, wouldn't there be easier ways? Like putting this 'believe' in the instinct of people? Or just show up one time...
Imagine yourself 4000 years ago. Primitive conditions. Disasters can not be explained. Even more questions than today have no answers. Wouldn't it be nice to have something to believe in? Would this give hope for better times? Wouldn't this assure these poor people they were doing the right thing? In this sense believe can be good, but it is no explanation for the things we don't know (yet).

Anyways, From what I notice now a days the human race is devolving. Take a look around at whos making babys, whos raising babys, and whos not making/rasing babys. Sure we are advancing scientifically/technologically but our genetic structure as a whole seems like it would be getting weaker and weaker every generation. Plus all our shit we produce is harming our microcellular structure we call DNA.

Well, this is exactly where evolution helps out! The most adaptable human beings will survive. This may well be a minority with enough resources. Every population experiences fluctuation, so why not the world population at some time?
