Randomize Playlist Start File

In previous version of winamp when you had shuffle on and oppened a playlist it would pick a random file in the list to start wiht plus randomly choosing the next ones.

Well it seems winamp 3 always picks the top song first then randomizes after that... is there anyway to fix this? Was Nullsoft aware fo this?

Workaround for bug

I'm sure this has occurred to someone else but I thought I'd post it here. This first song repeat thing has been really annoying me as I have my entire playlist on shuffle and set to play on windows startup...to say I was getting a bit ticked off with the first song in my list would be an understatement, so I looked for a way around it. Here's how;

1. Create a new text file somewhere, a blank one.
2. Rename it to blank.mp3 or something similar.
3. Add the file to your playlist and sort it up to the top of the playlist.
4. Save the playlist.
5. Delete the file.

Now when winamp starts up and tries to play the first song, it can't find the file and moves on to the next song...which should be a random selection. It's a bit of a messy way of doing things but if the shuffle is doing yer nut in, it's worth it.
