Those pictures are pretty sick, but I have to be completely honest, I giggled to my self when I saw one of the hanging pictures, your head really does cock to the side with your tounge hanging out. I alwasys thought that was just a joke. I accept in foresight any flaming I deserve for laughing at a dead person.

I've made a pact with myself not to look at them after I did a Google image search on "Kurt Cobain" a few months back or so. I was looking for pictures of him when he was still alive and unfortunately, I found just the opposite. They're probably not real and most likely are fakes, but I'm not interested in finding out any time soon.

well, i can't speak for anyone else, but if other depressed people are anything like me, seeing those photos won't change much. i've seen tons of photos like those and it actually made me want to kill myself and hurt others more.

im actually getting depressed and angry looking at these photos now it really makes me feel like i want to hurt myself and others. kinda that "fuck everything" aditude, but time 11.

Well the hypothermia one didn't look too bad...
They downplayed a few of the better ones that don't really much affect your "beauty" I think....(not that I am recommending btw...)

Suicide is not illegal, but yes, that's what happens to you if you try it and get caught. Sent off to a psychiatric ward for observation/possible treatment, do not pass Go, do not collect $200.

I think the guy on that site wants to provide people with the knowledge necessary to choose an effective, reliable, and relative pain-free way of ending their lives. Obviously stealing a fast car and driving the hell out of it (or doing some other highly visible thing) may be a good way to draw attention to yourself, however it is not a reliable method of suicide because first of all, doing something highly visible increases the odds that rescuers will reach you in time to prevent your death, and also because it is not necessarily guaranteed to result in death, nor is it pain free...the car crash may kill you, but it's just as likely to leave you crippled, or just terribly deformed, especially if paramedics reach you in time. After reading some of the stuff on his site, my votes for best suicide methods go to the shotgun blast to the head, which has a 99% effectiveness rate and received a low pain-rating by the pathologist, the asphyxiation with an inert gas after ingesting sedatives method, which seems to be quick, painless and simple, or maybe jumping off of a tall building if guns/sedatives/inert gas canisters aren't readily available, even though the stats indicate that jumps from altitudes < 150 feet are pretty survivable (with massive deformities/disabilities)...just be damn sure you pick a tall structure to jump from...or that you land on your face.

Life goes on, and no amount of "respect for the dead," or quiteness, or whatever will bring this guy back, so you can either get on with your life and participate in an intelligent discussion like the rest of us, or sit around moping about things as if you think that it actually somehow does somebody some good...but if you choose the latter then please don't try to force others to do the same thing. Just because you want to waste your time feeling bad about something which you had no control over and cannot help/change no matter how much you may want to doesn't mean that everyone else needs to do the same.

I see nothing wrong with posting these links. It's something you can find quite easily on the internet. It's not porn. It's something you can see in many R-rated movies anymore. They can show someone blowing their brains out, with blood and brains going everywhere, in movies.

These show that committing suicide ISN'T glamorous, as some people might think it is. It also shows that it's not funny to joke that you're going to kill yourself just to see what people will do. Nobody forced you to click the link, and even if you did, there was a warning on the page explaining what the pics were about. You can turn back at any time. Yes, it's gruesome, but it's also something that people need to realize DOES happen.

As far as it being posted one week later, how long would you expect him to wait? People commit suicide every day. People die every day.
