you seem to be developing (or have developed) a very distinct style. that could be good or bad, depending on the way you see things

I can't really say anything with regards to this skin because right now it's not got any buttons or anything on it

looks like it could be nice though

it could also be very bad
ah, the suspence

The borders from both the screen shots look just like colorised versions of the borders you used on water concept wa3. IMHO it would look better if you change them a bit. As for the bg, I liked the bg frm the first ss cos its quite artistic.

I saw that coming from a mile off. I didn't think you'd get as far on "fire" as you did. I hope you at least finish that one, since you were so close. This one looks good, though very similar to others that you've been doing lately. I too preferred the first background - I think the effect/s used on this one are a little overbearing; effects should be the spice, not the food

no,no,no...im going to finish the elements.....i just need a break from them...

the bg is kinda too much...but i wanted something totally different from the foreground for a certain feel...

i also came this......-->x<--......close to putting in lcd.

your all over the place ....well i hope i live to see you finnish these skins b/c they are all looking real good.
you may want to develop some work skills sutch as a plan of action. its all good for personal projects but if you start to do contract work u'll kill yourself by doing 5 remakes of a project befor even getting started. you have the talent to go professional, you just need the efficiency. it would also help you from burning out on your skin projects, i too would get sick of a skin if i did it 50 times over.
anyways keep up the good work, efficiant or not its great stuff.

if i was getting paid...i'd go about things very differently.

i know some people arent gonna like the way this skin is....

anyway......im going for a "dead" feel...kinda dreary and alone.

Looks great, but some bastard hung his laundry all over it

looks good, but - and this is just personal taste - I don't like the pastel explosion that's happening on the main and on the titlebar. I still think the background is too effect-drowned, but the multi-layer thing that's going on with the cbutton pillowcases is interesting - almost as if it's toying with your eyes.

that "explosion" is gonna get covered with volume, ticker, etc. anyway.

knowing myself ill probably have a million different bg's in the photoshop file too...

if enough people dont like it...ill just change it as usual

and i dont remember how i came up wih those blanket thingies, but they look cool to me.

it's like a dead waiter at a fancy alien resteraunt (suddenly I just forgot how to spell.... )
the resteraunt at the end of the universe maybe, after the big show?

it's sorta blurry too...kinda makes me feel like I'm drunk

it's your fault for not reading the best book trilogy ever (which happens to consist of 5 books and one short story)

...and it could be my fault for not being able to spell resteraunt correctly

looks good. The background is much better - less busym more purposeful, and it now has a much stronger vibe. I really like the foggy MAIN.

I can't believe no one here has red the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy...gosh...

/me waits patiently for buttons

I would suggest a different color in the pl...that poo brown doesn't seem to fit...maybe something darker?
and the pl title bar won't work with the insets lines going different ways like that...

/me waves hand frantically I have I have!!! It's been quite a while though... As a matter of fact, I have a rather battered copy sitting on my bookshelf. So long, and thanks for all the fish! I think of it as the "Monty Python's Holy Grail" of Sci-Fi books.

Xeno - any ideas for eq bars and cbuttons yet? I'm also liking the partially transparent look of the horn things here...

You all need some education... Douglas Adams style... why you uncultured beasts. /me loves H2G2 - it's possibly the only trilogy which consists of more than three books.

Liking this skin. I too liked the original pizzaz background... especially the wave spray effect (or whatever it was). However, I prefer the foreground now. And the background's coming along.
