i have installed l3codecp.exe and i cannot exceed 80kb/s stereo on XP pro...

any ideas anyone?

shoutcast

I hope i am in the right place

I am using shoutcast and I have installed the codec that shoudl allow me to broadcast much higher than 80k/s but I cannot... I am using winamp 2.81 and the latest ver of shoutcast..

sorry for being vague and sorry if i am in the wrong place...

Install the LATEST version of the SHOUTcast DSP, 1.8.2b

nothing...

the latest version did nothing to resolve this issue - in fact, i have to install 1.5 to get the higher bitrates

If this is the case than try the following in the SHOUTcast DSP v1.8.2:
Input tab > Input Device > Soundcard Input > Input Settings > 44100 Hz, Stereo
Close the DSP to save the settings then reopen the DSP and all the bitrates should be available.
