Problems with WA 2.80-.81

So I run WinAmp constantly like most people do, I love using it when I'm playing Quake/UT/JK2. I'm unsure of when it started, but when I exit those games, or when my screensaver turns off, the main UI of Winamp dissapears, Alt-Tab doesn't work, I have to bring it in focus, Alt-S and reset the skin for it to show up again. I have even lost focus of WA (show desktop) and the skin will dissapear in this manner.

Sometimes when I'm sorting a list, and I keep the Playlist section out, it will not dissapear as the main part of WA though. I have WA "always on top" so it's not an issue of taskbar mismanagement.

I say WA 2.80-81 because at somepoint I got sick of it, uninstalled WA 2.80, cleared the whole directory and started fresh with 2.81. Still happening.

Are you using LiteStep?
Winamp > Ctrl+P (preferences) > Options > checkmark "Always on Litestep Virtual Desktops"

The current version of Winamp 2.x is 2.91. Try updating your version of Winamp.

About the time you started having the problem, did you download and install any 3rd party plug-ins? Third party plug-ins bug list.

Do you have a SoundBlaster or Audigy card? SoundBlaster Users (SBLive/Audigy) : Read This First
