If the server and the Source (WinAmp) are on the same machine, put localhost in the address box.
Try this and tell me if you receive any errors in the DNAS (server) log. -- Michael |

No.. you're broadcasting all over the internet. Make sure that your .pls is written correctly.. that your ip is right.

WindowsXP has a built in firewall that you'll have to disable. Try a forum search on how to do so.
------ Check out the Sticky post titled: SHOUTcast: Important Info & Answers to FAQs. READ ME! Scroll down a bit and look for the section titled: Routers, Firewalls, and Networks. Oh My! D-Link Support Pages -> Routers -> DI-604 -- Michael |

You'll need to open port 8000 since that's the port that you're broadcasting through (unless you changed the portbase from default).

66.91.240.32:8000 is Closed
I did that test thing and got this : Reason Given: Connection timed out More about this error: This means that you are most likely behind a firewall, this error esentially says that you and your computer aren't there. You might also check to be sure that your ip is 66.91.240.32, if it is not then you are behind some sort of proxy. |

Oh, I'm sorry. I go rather mindlessly through these threads sometimes.
It means that you need to forward the ports through your router to the computer that's hosting the DNAS (server). You said that you already forwarded 8000~8001, though, so as long as you did that properly, all should be good. What company router do you have? -- Michael |

No, you wouldn't put .150 in the box. 150 is correct as long as that's your correct LAN IP.
I don't know what to do and I apologize for that, but please wait patiently for someone that does know. -- Michael |
