nsvscsrc output redirecting

i wanted to create some gui proggie for nsvscsrc, but i need to knew what it's doing at moment, so i coded proggie with pipe redirecting, example worked with "ping -t localhost" but with nsvscsrc i got output only when it finished, >blah.txt olso won't work, later i realized that when redirecting it buffers ~4kb, so WHY is needed such buffering, are any tricks to reduce it?
