R4 scenes

Not MilKDrop presets although I have nearly finished a couple more. But there was no way to upload this collection of R4 scenes to their forum...so I am abusing these forums for the moment.

On a side not I am really enjoying R4 atm I can do soo much cool stuff.

they don't seem to be working... I put them in: data/predefined

they appear on the loading screen but not on the list of scenes.

data/predefine is teh directory not data/predefined

But they do not appear in the list as they are faders.

If you want to see them remove al the other faders from R4 data/predefine dir (All called fadexxx.r4) and add the ones above.

ALthough the jury is out if you use a ATi Radeon with there lake of OpenGL standard command support.

ALthough personaly I cannot stand deviantart as it has own teh award for teh slowed website in the world for 3 years runnings and as you know the visualization category full of random pics as they have no admin.

R4 pwns... but still, no good power of making custom presets, its getting like coding opengl application, you got LOADS of boo to memorize, but in avs you got only x,y,i,red,green,blue and some more

oh yea, i noticed that R4 has somewhat shitty beat detection, or is that you guys are not using a=a*.9+b*.1; as custom beat, wile b is music data (or somethign like this).

For now ill still stic with avs, but R4 is riiight next to avs

oh yea, i had some problems with getting R4 to read music data, I had to select the 'Stereo mix' from wave in to make it work.
I cant give you my system stats if you need

The music detection is not perfect yet although I have done some interesting stuff recently.

One of the problems is that it reads of teh soundcards so you also have to configure this to.

Stereo MIx for some sound cards yeah. I needed to let teh volume well low for those cards use teh 'wavescope' scene to set it to a decent level.

A winamp plugin will improve things a lot too.

You can choose3 how much opengl you want really. It is more like VisualJOckey in that you bolt all teh scenes together but no fancy gui and stacks quicker too.

I didn't realise that to although thought you must have been there for a little big as teh anime pics seem to have stopped a bit now. btw do you want you nick changed to yathosho for winamp forums?
