Winamp 5 crash on some modern skin switches

I like winamp5, i really do, great job with the betas, had no problems at all. However, rc666 and the full version have been crashing.

I can start winamp5 with the default modern skin and most modern skins, they all work fine. However, when I switch to a skin like MMD3 or T3_amp it crashes inexplicably giving a default error.

System specs:
Athlon XP2400+
512Mb DDR2100
110Gb storage (80Gb raided, 30Gb seperate)
GeForce 4 Ti4200
SB Live! 1024 player
Winamp5 full

I don't think I've got any output plugins on, i've definitly got it set to directsound.

Any clues?
