Multiple users in XP
I have searched several different ways and looked at FAQ but don't see anything addressing this situation.
Only the administrative account on our computer can use Winamp. I just installed the latest version thinking that Winamp3 just wasn't working well with XP. It hasn't made much of a difference. Prior to installing WA5, when we tried to open Winamp, we got an error box asking if we wanted to send a report to Microsoft. It didn't even open the program. Now that we've installed WA5, it will open the program, and we can even change skins. But we can't play songs. As soon as we try to navigate at all, it goes thru the Microsoft error report thing, shutting down WA5. It works perfectly in the administrative account. It is set to allow multiple instances. I apologize if this problem has been addressed elsewhere and has been overlooked by me. I volunteer at a help board, and I know how frustrating it can get to answer the same questions over & over! Thank you in advance. |
