Britney Spears Skins?

I'm just curious why there aren't any of them? You'd think there would be, I want one!

I'm sorry if I sound rude here, but are you kidding me? Try a search on google. There are hundreds...

Good point. I remember that skin, as it was quite decent, and it's missing from 1k1ws as well (I knew there was something missing). The author must have stopped liking Britney Spears and taken the skin down All part of growing up I guess

I am getting this strange idea...

A "Britney Spears Skin" is now a symbol synonymous with all that is blatant, pandering, and accruing high download counts. An interesting idea for a contest would be a Britney Spears contest - how would people who normally never venture out of their realm of skinning design a Britney Spears skin - how would they be individually forced to comprimise their principles? (Jones aside )

Hmm... curious.

That would be kind of cool to see, but count me out. I have very few principles, but even I would have to sink to make a Britney skin.

That sounds kinda fun . . . I'm only in if they can be skinner.exe though, I don't want to waste more than a few minutes on that garbage.

it's amazing what a simple Google search can cure

most of the ones found are probably skinner.exe skins, but I doubt that really matters to the original poster

Also Garret Jax's Slick Series and Xerxes' Caesar Amp.

Not to mention lots of other well known skins, like Zeus and Wiaora ... none of them appear under the name of the original author.

If any of you know the real author's e-mail, feel free to e-mail them for me. Finding the e-mails is a bitch I've found out.

might have been britney's lawyers telling him to take it offline. I think he used a high quality shot of her, and miss spears might have been pissed off that she doesn't get a damn cent for it

Once upon a time, there was the winamp skin database, it contained good skins made by good skinners. Then came dr algebra and a few others, they managed to ruin the skin database by giving all the people the ability to make a skin in under 3 seconds. That was not all, people made skins of Britney Spears, hundreds of them. The database was flooded with them.
People made comments on them, usually with words that should not be uttered by 12 year olds.
Then came the great database cleanup, and overnight (actually on a saturday) all these britney skins left winamp.com, every single one of them, either good or bad, because on all of them the comments were not very good to say it mildly.
Now the database is a lot better and people can start to enjoy browsing through the skins again.

And if anybody ever mentions that name again, .....wel....I'll leave that up to your imagination, but it will not be pretty.

Yaay!

Thank you so much for finding the "Britney Paradise" and "Zeus" skins somewhere on the net... I searched through every page of the "Human Classics" and couldn't find it at all! >_<

Anyway, very much appreciated, it brings back memories from year 2000 ( ^_^)b

peace

Wow I remember this thread. We should still have that Britney contest I mentioned a year ago. That was a really good idea.

I wouldn't mind the contest. It could be judged by download count XD

There's no point. I've already made The Best Britney Skin Ever.

But someone renamed it to "Supey's Skin." Hmmm
