Didn't I comment on this already? :P But I see you've done some work. I like how the volume says "mute" at the bottom... perhaps it could say "max" or something at the highest point? But only if it's as subtle as the "mute" thing is. I like the animations -- all in paint, really? I'm impressed with the smoothness. I would use transparencies, but within the word "Winamp" in the title bar I would use solid black so it is easy to click on to move it. Good work so far!

Um, if you can save as "png" rather than "jpeg," I might be able to see what it looks like...

The animation is very smooth . Although (in all of them) the words ("mute" and "max") are hard to make out.

In this situation, "make out" means "read." He thinks it's hard to read the words in the animation, and I believe him. But I don't think it has to be changed unless you want to.

I think your question was funny because in different use, "making out" is a type of kissing.

El Argento, I would just like to apologise because since you came to this forum, and until you linked to your profile, I somehow mistook you for Anel Sanchez, whom I find somewhat annoying, and I feel that has been an insult to you. I do, however, recognise your skins on second look, and I like them very much. Virtual Dimension is one of my favorite skins. Now I see how you got the bloody one so smooth.

Hey I See jhahahah.... Well I feel happy that you recognized me...anyway I couldn't recognize any insult because my english is not the best you know...I'm new here but not so new in the world of skins...I first get the version 2.7 of winamp from a Cd of a friend of my sister and later a friend of mine gave me a cd with some skins...
I didnt pay much attention to them at first...the time passed and one day while surfing the net, I decided to enter to a website (which was mentioned in the readme of almost every skin) called as 1k1WS...when i saw the ScorpionSkin (by ViDA) i was amazed...
I'd some curiosity about how were the skins made so...at that time the skins were still zip files...so i oppened one (it was a Sony skin...some kind of CD groove player) and changed it a bit...and them whatched the changes... as the time passed i could improve my technic...and some time later I Finished my first serious skin (It was a Nirvana Skin because I'd tried to serach a good Nirvana Skin and I Didn't find any good skin) and some time after i finished my first (not so serious) skin which I called 12-Kbezas AmP (in honor to a group of friends) I Continued working for some time and finally draw some other skins (like Green Dimension V.1 And Virtual Winter V.1) then it came the day i decided to publish my skins at 1K1WS and after some time Red Demon(12kbezas amp) and Green Dimension V.1 Were out
This is just my little story since them i've already published 13 skins at 1K1WS (www.1001winampskins.com) and Participated in only 1 competition (the guiolympics with my skin Virtual Dimension RMX No success)
for all the guys who read this all :P That's Me I'm a young music lover who enjoys skinning
I hope not to be any charge in here or to disturb you...i just wanted to meet the profecional
Well...I just wrote too much
actually I fell in love with Luigi Hann's Skins because of his creative way of displaying the items and cool (and nostalgic) animations...StillWater's skins because of their's smoothness and animations...and 883's skins because of their smoothness and creativity
Sorry for bothering (it looks like I was under the power of some kind of inspiration )

I remember Scorpion Skin!! That was so cool and bizzarre, and the first skin I saw with that kind of EQ animation.

I started skinning after seeing the Super Mario Bros. Amp skin by "The Warlock" here: http://www.classicgaming.com/tmk/winamp.shtml That and MarioAmpv1.1 by CR54 impressed me much more than most of the others, so I decided to follow that style with Mario Bors. Amp (now Classic Mario Amp, but unchanged on that site.) By the way, how's Blood Stain going?
