mp3 clips
can winamp cut up an mp3 so i can make it into clips for my project to play music? i dont want to play the hole song i jut want like 30 seconds of it.

In theory yes, if you use an mp3 output plugin and press stop at the right moment. But even if you hit the right moment you'll lose quality.
You'll get better results with mp3DirectCut. |

well maybe ill just stay with mp3directcut if i know how to work it. is there any tutorial on how to run it?

I don't understand what you are saying. As I said in my post above, the "tutorial" and everything you need to know is all included in the manual (Manual.htm) and the FAQ (FAQ.htm). Did you bother to read or reference either of them?
All the help you need in the Manual or the FAQ...

interesting app. i've been wanting to get something like this for a while--it beats putting a wav into sound recorder and doing "delete after/before this point."

how can you make clips of songs and not the whole song to burn to a cd

If they're mp3s you can use mp3directcut too.
But if you want to burn to an audio cd you can also use Audacity which can import wav, mp3 and ogg vorbis files, just make sure you export the clips as 16bit wav (other resolutions may not work with your burning software and recompressing to mp3 would hurt quality). |
