Winamp AVS and FRAPS

This is not a problem. I'm just posting this because i found it interesting.

When I exit a game while using FRAPS (that is, FRAPS is still running on the background) and load up Winamp with the visualisation plugin (AVS), I play a song and Winamp throws an error message and crashes. This doesn't happen when I don't use the plugin.

Does AVS use Direct3D or OpenGL? Because that's what FRAPS uses when recording game videos.

Now shoot me, kill me, it's only a post.

AVS is entirely processor based.

As for this crashing, is when you are still trying to record a video? How much of your CPU time does it, fraps not AVS, use?

It would be useful to see the contents of the error message and your system specs.
