Winamp AVS and FRAPS
This is not a problem. I'm just posting this because i found it interesting.
When I exit a game while using FRAPS (that is, FRAPS is still running on the background) and load up Winamp with the visualisation plugin (AVS), I play a song and Winamp throws an error message and crashes. This doesn't happen when I don't use the plugin. Does AVS use Direct3D or OpenGL? Because that's what FRAPS uses when recording game videos. Now shoot me, kill me, it's only a post. |

As for this crashing, is when you are still trying to record a video? How much of your CPU time does it, fraps not AVS, use? It would be useful to see the contents of the error message and your system specs. Winamp ATF Reference — My cPro timer widget — My port of AVS Do NOT email me with general tech support questions. |
