in_cdda.dll(v3.1) crashes when ripping cd without sonic engine.
i tried clean install without sonic engine, then put wnaspi32.dll(ref) in the winamp folder.
it worked fine in wa5.094, but wa5.1, when i try to rip cd, in_cdda.dll crashes immediately. of course i unchecked sonic relevant options. i reinstalled wa5.1 with sonic engine. it worked, no crashes. also i replaced in_cdda.dll(v3.1) with old version(v3.06 included in 5.094), then removed sonic engine and put wnaspi32.dll in the winamp folder. it worked fine as well. to conclude, new in_cdda.dll(v3.1) needs sonic engine when ripping cd? or is there any way to rip without sonic engine? system specs wa5.1 pentium3 650mhz laptop mem256mb os: win2k sp4 rollup1 soundcard: onboard drive: toshiba dvd-rom sd-c2202 no spyware according to spybotsd. attached hijackthis log.(my system is japanese, so you might see some weird characters...) Yeah got that too.
AppName: winamp.exe | AppVer: 5.0.1.0 | ModName: in_cdda.dll | ModVer: 0.0.0.0 | Offset: 0000cf79 I also found skip free playback was tied to the Nero ASPI, wouldn't work with Adaptec anymore. UJ |
