Probably in the future display Winamp modern skins playlist slider as in winamp library or in plugin Album View 2? |

Actually, the build number is 469, which is mostly uninteresting. The only thing I can find out about it is that its a centered hexagonal number __________________ |

What does "preliminary id3v2.4 support" really mean? Can someone give me the technical details on why it's still just preliminary? When is it going to be finialized? __________________ |

Winamp knows not to destroy a whole lot of tag info now. It knows what format tags should be saved in. It respects the tag specifications. The only thing really missing is a new UI to let people add the new tag fields. |

I have a problem with the installer (I've tried the full w/emusic, full without, and standard installers). I'm running windows 98. |

Oddly enough, the same format of wave files(two files),winamp 5.2 final can play one, can't play another.

not to argue, but i had my settings set for 1500 streams and it pulled all of them in. it was set at 1500 to filter out the crap at the bottom but pick up any streams that were strange enough to catch my eye. the stream limit of 1000 was set serverside if i recall correctly and i don't recall seeing a reason why it was set at that level. __________________ |

So far looks great, the Shoutcast browser is different - not necessarily bad - will take some getting used to, but better overall. One feature left out that I think is needed is the Send To> context menu (in the Shoutcast browser). There's half a dozen stations I like to listen to, and it's much easier to simply right-click and send them to bookmarks. Can be done through the playlist, but more of a hassle, as title of bookmark shows up as plain URL... |

@ baudfather - I miss bookmarking from the ML as well, as you say, using the Playlist is not the same. |

Why dont the developers take notice of the bug I'm reporting. aacplus decoding still doesn't work properly for files created in Nero when the files are randomly seeked, whereas the same files decode properly with the AudioCoding.com in_mp4 plugin. |

The new shoutcast browser seems to be nice. One thing I noticed: When searching for the channels of the station URL submitted by user. I am not able to find any channel besides the classic and the 60's-80's rock channel. In 5.13 the Best of the 80's channel, I'm listening to it right now, was listed as well. I didn't search for the other channels,... |
