it does the same for me, but thats expected behavior for people who live outside the USA.

In2TV will not work if you have an IP address deemed to be outside of the USA.(according to their server)

if other video streams work correctly its nothing wrong with your computer, its at their end.

The deal is (as already mentioned by Rocker above)...

So, I would assume that they are evidently mis-identifying your IP address as being outside the U.S.

Well, yeah. I kind of assumed that.
But my question is, how do I fix the problem?
I don't think I can change my external IP.
(I have Comcast Cable)
So do I call Comcast and complain or what?

PS - I tried Winamp 5.25 BETA, but this issue still remains...

Okay. Maybe one or more of these posts will help/may apply to you (all taken from the same thread)...

I think (just a guess) that may be indirectly related to the issue you are having. However since neither of us have IE7, I (we) don't know where the relevant settings are. Maybe you know how to specify permission with Winamp in IE7?

Also, I had a similar issue to yours with In2TV. It would not advance beyond the commercial to the tv show, just stopped after the commercial. After removing several old and unused third party Winamp plug-ins, In2TV worked correctly. So, if it is not the "specify which external applications" issue, it might be a issue with a third party plug-in. Do, you have any third party Winamp plug-ins? Please post system specs.
and this one, which also claims to be a 'solution'...

Change your screen from 16-bit to 32-bit.

Works here.

I have 2 different computers both on a bellsouth.net IP both have the same problem. In fact on one computer WinAmp hung. If I go to in2tv's web site and play the video, it plays just fine on both computers.

All other DRM video plays fine so how do I check to see if Hardware overlay support is available?

Not running I.E. 7 do not run I.E. however javascript is turned on

I get a message about unable aquire liscense then nothing except a commerical.

WinAmp was just recently installed on a fresh install of Windows XP pro.

Thank you,

George Worley.

IN2TV License Issue

I feel 'ya all. I'm baffled. I cannot get antything other than the commercials on in2tv, either. The "Cannot obtain license, you may have to press play to reacquire" dialogue keeps popping up, which is a recent development. At first, just the commercials would repeat. Tried 2 clean installs of Winamp 5.24. US/Bellsouth ISP (DNS decodes dsl.mia.bellsouth), running XP Pro SP2, 2600 on a P4 1.6GHz, Intel chipset 845HV, on Nvidia GEForce 4 440MX 8XAGP, LATEST drivers, LATEST DirectX, Tried overlay on & off, Tried the "No Proxy" in MMS in WMP10. Not using multiple montiors and have no 3rd party plugins. Videos play at AOL's site in IE 6 with the WMP plugin, but won't stream to Winamp. All other streams work fine (Shoutcast, etc.) and IS NOT a firewall issue (Disabled all, still doesn't work) If you can figure it out, you're smarter than me. Other than that, never had a problem. Been using Winamp all the way back to v. 2.x.

PROBLEM SOLVED?

I found that you have to have both "Shuffle" and "Repeat" disabled (assumably easy to shutoff from Winamp's main window) for in2tv to work correctly.

I have them disabled and now in2tv works great, everytime.

Let me know if that works!?

I'd like more information about the second quoted post you had concerning JonnyMac's mention of DJ Egg's post about IE7 BETA and in2tv on Winamp.

I just recently installed IE7 Final, and Winamp's in2tv service seems to be freaking out again, and only playing commercials over and over and over again and when it does try to play the actual tv show's stream it give the typical Protected Content error window and won't load anything!
Grrrrrr......

So, did DJ Egg actually mentioned a "workaround" for IE7 to make it work with Winamp's in2tv service?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I love in2tv and it is really annoying that I cannot enjoy the service...
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
