the download for windows dont work

i tried downloading the server for windows and it didn't work. aint it supposed to work for windows xp? why wont the download work? all i get is an error saying that the download is corrupt. i tried to download it several times but i keep getting the same error message.

PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone:

Does the download actually complete (i.e. you get a 100% reading) or does it stop somewhere in the middle?

If it stops somewhere in the middle and doesn't download completely, that is why it's corrupt.

Not sure which browser you're using (I'm assuming IE from the sound of it), but you may also want to try using a different browser too. If you're using IE, try downloading using Firefox instead.

it downloads just fine but after its done downloading i try running it it says its corrupt.

p.s. i am useing internet explorer but should that realy matter since i have no problem downloading it? like i said it downloads just fine but when i try to run it it says that its corrupt

It works fine. If you are having issues with downloads, try running a virus scanner.

i allready ran a virus scanner. i have no viruses but its still saying the file is corrupt. i even just tried downloading it with firefox like that other person said and i still got the same error message.
