Seach function down? x_x
Was just wondering why i am getting a 404 each time i try to search for something on the site... And if im the only one who gets this nice little file not found ^^

Yep. Searching was borked awhile ago, but it seems OK now. But ya gotta remember guys... this New site design has and apparently is still having some glitches.

For the search stuff, as a workaround try a Google search with the following Operators/filters as part of the search query
Music or Videos artist/group or title here site:www.winamp.com/media/music-artist -or- artist/group or title here site:www.winamp.com/media/video-artist Plug-ins search keyword(s) here site:www.winamp.com/plugins/details -inurl:reviews -inurl:opinion Skins search keyword(s) here site:www.winamp.com/skins/details -inurl:reviews -inurl:opinion Read the Stickies --->  |  |  |  |  <--- Knowledge is power |

The search Operators mentioned in the previous post works there as well. Anyways, as another alternative you can "manually" search Winamp.com via your browser's address bar... Classic Skins http://www.winamp.com/skins/search/?s=c&q=search keyword(s) here Modern Skins http://www.winamp.com/skins/search/?s=m&q=search keyword(s) here Plugins http://www.winamp.com/plugins/search/?q=search keyword(s) here Music http://www.winamp.com/media/music-search/?q=search keyword(s) here Videos http://www.winamp.com/media/video-search/?q=search keyword(s) here When using more than one keyword, replace spaces with %20 |
