No more uploads??? Why??

I have an incredibly small hard drive and winamp locker was a savior for me, because I could upload the tracks I download and listen to them whenever I wanted. What is the purpose of even having a locker if I can't upload my songs to them anymore? Listen to their featured artists? Yay!

So MyLocker is fresh out of money! That's just wonderful considering all the MP3s I have stored in there and I can't even get in to convert them back to my hard drive!!! When I try to sign in, it does nothing! I'm royally pissed about this!

Have you changed your Internet settings to not accept cookies? And when you attempt to sign in, does it say your password is invalid or does it return you to the same sign-in page?

my cookies are enabled, as is java and java script like "customer service" (and I use that term verrrry loosely) told me to do. I don't know what the problem is.

Oh and yeah, when I try to sign in it takes me back to sign in again, or it repeatedly asks me to re-enter my password.

Probably a corrupted cookie that refuses to die. Try clearing the myplay.winamp.com cookie from your browser:

IE6: "Tools/Internet Options/Delete Cookies"
IE5: "Tools/Internet Options/Temp Internet Files Settings/View Files", then in the file browser choose "View/Details", then click the "Internet Address" tab to sort by Internet Address. This will bring the cookies to the top of the list. Select the cookie that's from myplay.winamp.com, and hit "Delete".
Netscape: It's been ages! I forgot everything!

If this still doesn't solve your problem, I'm totally stumped.

Hey Sawg,

MyPlay isn't exactly out of money. Their business will continue. However, the contract between their company and ours is up and it is not going to be renewed. That is about the best explanation that I can give you. Sometimes businesses work in mysterious ways. Me, I just like to write funny things on websites.

I am sorry that the service is going away. A good many people found it very useful. Alas, these things happen. It is no one's fault (blame Denny if you must).

I assure you that we will find more things in the future that will give you pleasure. And then Steve will take those away from you just for fun. He is a deviant bastard.
