* updates to mod, midi, and wav support (from the wonderful PP) THe updates screwed up the MIDI. It used to work in 2.77, and when I upgraded to 2.78, it fucked the MIDI playing up. Basically, I play my MIDI file and it silently plays. No music, but it phsyically shows it playing. No sound coming out though. help? Last edited by STiSev; 8th December 2001 at 20:41. |

well, if you are so smart, why don't you read a few sticky threads / announcements before posting ?
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....threadid=65975 http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....threadid=66558 there are NO changes between v2.77 and v2.78 which could cause what you describe. go here if you can't get MIDI to work. |

And that MIDI substitute didn't work. I tried that a long time ago. |

well, looks like you can't read.

another thing - why don't you check if other MIDI players (eg. windows media player) work for you ? if not, this is definitely not a Winamp problem (bleh, probably MIDI muted in windows volume control). PS. what do you mean "MIDI substitute" ? |
