Im Not Quite sure what the hell this attempt of a mp3 player is but winamp3 totally sucks i have a Sound Blaster Exdigy (Top Of the Range) and also the BEST cambridge SoundWorks going and even all that does not do winamp3 anythink to write home about winamp 2.78c is far better the sound just sucks on winamp3 im though at first that it could just be beta 1 and i waited and still winamp 3 beta 2 is just as bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if i was you winamp i would work on the old winamp and change it so it can have the new type of skins on like winamp3 but by god it sucks!!

o and to finsh this off Windows Media Player 8.0 on winXP has far superiour sound to winamp and i really hope winamp becomes better coz i hate microsoft doing better than winamp

winamp2 and 3 use the same mp3 decoder and output system. There is no difference in sound between the updated winamp2 and winamp3.

everyone here knows that winamp3 will be the best mp3 player there is, once it is finished.

I suggest you wise the f- up before you start flaming us.

I think this guy posted here to be flamed. Probably some guy who has parents that bought him the "highest end" computer that money could buy and is probably taking an introduction to comuter science. Must think he knows it all now. If you have winamp so much go to microsoft and tell them how good media player is, but don't make a new user name and post a stupid tread like that and take up sever space. We know it's a BETA; we just give it a little love. now shut up.

firstly update your soundcard drivers... http://www.creativelabs.com

both winamp's should work fine....
if you have a problem with winamp3..then use winamp2
its still a developers beta...and is only meant for developers and people wanting to learn the new skinning system.

it will work better on release(not if you continue to use creatives shit drivers)

Humm yer ok for a start i dont live with parents and i dont know why it says im a young member i must have messed up with the age thingy but i tryed Beta 3 and yea its improved!!

but im 18 im a computer systems programmer so dont start dissing @#&% about broken sound card drivers coz i know if there broken and there not but il tell you winamp 3 is broken then again to put it nicely why dont you try again coz you are just going to fail!!!!!!!! nar only joken dudes beta 3 is far better than beta 2 nice improvements!!

anyway How long till winamp3 is releasing there next beta version??
