do I? yeah, baby, yeah!

someone said that it's impossible to make a highly detailed MSPaint skin, so I decided to try to prove them wrong
did I?
I plan on making the intricate little pieces more spiffy with maybe some color or something, I'm not sure yet
suggestions?

the title isn't the most original, but I couldn't think of anything else

Yes, we are a different breed now aren't we

Great skin! Love the metal, but the LCD could use some changes and detailing IMO.

Best britney skin ever??

It looks good so far. Very complex, but it should still be usable.

i am not too keen on the colours, and IMO those grey bits are screaming out for a good metallic gradient.

I've been trying to think of somthing to do to the lcd to make it more detailed, but I didn't leave myself with much room to do that

it'd be kinda hard to put a metalic gradient on those gray bits...they're all very very small--the widest is only 5 px, and they all do have a slight gradient on them

I did some more work on it
all the stuff in the main is finished
just gotta take the scissors to it...

I couldn't get the lcd as detailed as I wanted...I didn't give myself much room to work with
I wanna do some cool color shifting type animarations for the vol/bal, but I dunno how yet

remember this skin?
just bumping it so when I post my next update I don't have to search for the thread again
actually, if I keep getting sidetracked and forgetting I'm making this post this may be an update

bleah..
this is the hardest I've ever worked on a skin
I'm trying hard not to screw it up like I have my last ones
it's gotta look cool, but be useable
and there must be high contrast, but not so it sticks out and looks bad (and while we're on the subject, does it?)
then these little intricate detailed bits take forever, and I have to also try to make them not stand out so much as to detract from the important components

I think I'll go ahead and make this an update
although I'm not quite Finish, I got most of the spaces between the eq bars done. they're taking quite a long time to do. boo to small detail. but I think they look cool. do you?
I also made some small changes the the lcd in the main...the brighterness doesn't look bad does it?
anyway, it'll only be a few more hours and the background bits of the eq will be done

You really need to try psp for gradients etc. Its so much quicker than using mspaint...

Anyways, i think the lcd looks fine like that, not too dark and not too much nor too little contrast.

I have PSP. I just use MSPaint for a challenge
and the gradients are all only 2, 3, or 5 pixels wide, so there's really no need for PSP, and now it's just a matter of using the dropper anyway

Whooooooooooooa . . . .

I'm amazed with your patience and your Painting skills! Have your eyes gone buggy yet?

While the blue lights look fine against the green (they actually look more turquoise in the LCD), I'd like to see them a different colour on the grey part. They kind of stick out as is.

It'd be nice to see a bit of colour on the metal part . . . if you want to make this skin more complex than it already is . . . I'm not sure if it would look good or not - have you tried fooling around with some colour?

Please keep the title (and refain from adding Britney bits!)

Still neat.

I'm not a huge fan of the bright cyan on either the metal or Lcd parts- mellow it out, says I. And nice overdetailing on the Eq.

I don't really like the cyan bits on the gray part, but I'm not sure what to change it to yet that will stick out enough. I'm looking for a color that won't look stupid in low amounts on a gray/green skin but doesn't blend into the gray so that it's hidden
I was also thinking of adding a touch of color to the gray bits, I'm just not sure how yet

detailing on the eq finished
still don't know how to do the cyan on the gray
I think I'll keep it cyan
there's gonna be some on the eq
and some animarations on the sliders

I like the 5th best (2nd row, 2nd from left) because the green colors match perfectly But grey is good, too

The green clolors are very cool...you should use more of them

I'm just going to go with the original and change it later maybe
I cutted and pasted and put together all of the main and eq 'cept for the windowshades
and I skinned the cbar-off just for you db
not that I don'tnormally, I just made it actually different from the on this time
the presets button in the eq is in the pressed state
I actually did a little bit of work on the eq bars and tried to kinda animate them this time
I think that's a first
annnnnnny suggestions thus far?
