Jingles for my station?

I am wondering if anyone knows of any good, real cheap radio jingles for my radio station.

I have tried to make my own, but it usually doesn't turn out all that well.

Has anyone ordered from "JJ McKay" like the SHOUTcast website said to? How much does he charge if so?

Any ideas?

Thanks

Check out the DJ & Listener forum.

There are usually a few active threads of folks that'll do jingles.

How are their rates?

I am an internet only station with no commercials or revenue...I'm basically just looking for a few jingles/drops right now to stand out.

Thanks

As they are a new company I would suggest they would be willing to work with you. I highly suggest you contact them and speak with them.

they do excellent work with quick turnarounds.

Hi. I listened to some of the samples...I notice you are from Metro Mix Radio...the production value of those drops are GREAT, but the price ($195 for 3 drops) is WAY outta my budget.

If you think they are the cheapest, then I really need to learn how to make my own .

Does anyone have any suggestions on any tools to make my own? I have a hard time finding cool sound effects, beat loops, and how to make the cool voice effects that you hear in jingles.

Any ideas, please post back.

Thanks

-Mark

P.S. Has anyone used JJ McKay? I assume he would be ALOT more expensive?

I never suggested they were the cheapest. I suggested that you contact them direct and speak with them. I'm sure they would be willing to discuss pricing with you.

I emailed them, and they were VERY nice and prompt with a response. They told me about how they could custom make jingles to meet my needs, and how they dont use cookbook jingles. Very nice people, but my price range is SO MUCH lower than that, I doubt they would give me a steal deal, because they're in the business.

Thanks for all your help so far? Any ideas how to make my own (i.e. tools that I need, etc)? Or make at least the beat/sound effect part, and then have someone else do the voiceovers?

Thanks

-Mark

Glad I could be of some assistance. To be honest If I knew how to make jingles and whatnot I'd be doing them myself and not paying someone

best of luck.
