As far as a RealDoll, at least you can subtly let friends and family know that you actually use it to drive in the carpool lanes

Here at my dad's house, we don't have any scales anymore...

I fuckin' swear, we've probably had 4 or 5 scales since we've been in this house for almost a decade, but my step-mom keeps getting rid of them because she's so damn paranoid about her weight...

Last night I bought two tickets for my dad and I to The Pink Floyd Experience for next Friday. It should be pretty fun, even if it's not the real thing. And today I bought a plain black hooded sweatshirt (it's fucking cold in this house!).

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
I'll be waiting, and shall see you on the other side...

I wish I could get out to see that.

Even if Pink Floyd isn't there, a laser show to the music of Pink Floyd is one of the coolest musical experiences in the world, in my opinion. I used to run PF laser shows at my hometown's planetarium. (And no, I wasn't high when I did it. It was from age 11 to age 17.)

I hope you guys have fun.

VGA "Y"splitter for my monitor which I plan to use inversely (2 sources to my single monitor)
My 360 looks awesome in it's HD ability on my LCD but it's getting old swapping cables.
My alternative is to upgrade my video card for a DVI output but I'm not ready to replace my 256 onboard card yet.

A battery charger (BC-700, same as the La Crosse BC-900 except without accessories and barbecue settings (1000mA+)) and 8 eneloops.

Just build a wall around your whole country and put a roof on top, but make sure it's air-tight. Then you can pollute all you want.
Don't worry, God won't let you suffocate.

After having my truck for almost seven years now, having no wrecks, being lucky enough to not have any law enforcement agencies report my citations to my insurance company, and reducing my plan from full-coverage to liability-only... I managed to get my insurance costs down from $210 a month to $58 a month.

Oh, and last purchased:
Dinner at Arby's.

I'd be envious if that were only for three months. That's about a month-and-a-half of premiums for me.

I'm covering two luxury cars, and for some reason, both are listed by insurance companies under the "high performance" category. The 335i twin-turbo is definitely a high-performance car. But the 530i? Not hardly, in my opinion.

I've talked to several insurance companies, big to small, and all of them put all BMWs in the "high-performance" category, regardless of model. Even a 30-year-old 318i is a "high-performance car" to them.

It's true that a primary design feature of any BMW is performance, but not all of them could really be called "high" performance. The 335i a luxury sports coupe that goes 0 to 60mph in 4.8 seconds. The 530i is a luxury sedan that goes 0 to 60mph in about 7. The former is clearly a performance car, and the latter is clearly not.

Insurance companies screw me. Then again, I have to live under the same mantra I tell everyone: "If you can't afford the insurance, you can't afford the car."

For my '98 Olds 88 I currently pay $177.02 per month for insurance from Progressive. My premium should drop a bit after next month when I renew my policy, but I'm still not expecting much. Anyway this is on top of the loan payment of $162 per month. I know it's high but I don't really mind. As Scor said, "If you can't afford the insurance, you can't afford the car." I'm doing alright with it, and I work at a fucking gas station making seven bucks an hour. You just have to know how to manage your money.

Progressive? Go with Allstate. If somebody wrecks your car, Dennis Haysbert will get Jack Bauer to beat the shit out of you.

I got quotes from quite a few of the major companies (AIG, Allstate, Farmers, Geico, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, Progressive, and State Farm). My mom has a friend who is a homeowners insurance agent and we asked her to look over everything and give us her opinion. She said that for the price I was quoted at Progressive gave me the best coverage.

Even though it's still a bit high I'm damn pleased with their service. They came through with flying colors when I was involved in an accident last year. And for whatever reason the next month my premium dropped the next month. Before the accident I was paying $210.25 per month, right after I was down to the current rate of $177.02 per month.

Spiral out, my friend. You will find your way back to yourself, we all will.
