Thank Pawel been waiting for someone to do an update to the theme pack forever.

Aye, I know but I have been warming up to the Bento skin and I wanted to match colors. Hm, is the winamp classic colors encoded somewhere I could take a peek at them? Maybe if I find the exact colors I can just use the Bento color tool.

you'rerestarting winamp after adding the new thems.ok. It seems winnamp doesn;t see the new thems until you've reboot winamp. Maybe an idea for a forture build a flush theme-cache or somerhing to that effect.

I want to share my final version of my XML-file now:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/o2rbfu...lare_dream.xml
My XML-file is for the pasting into the right directories, but if someone wants have an easier reading of the codes, I have also a TXT-file:
http://www.mediafire.com/file/4gbz74...lare_dream.txt
The whole story about my files can be read here:
http://www.lastfm.de/user/SabineKlar...l-_&_txt-files
It's easier for me to show my screenshots in deviantART & Photobucket, much better than using the attachement-feature (because I don't want to make my post too large and too long):
http://sternenmaschinebine.deviantart.com/gallery/
http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/St...?sort=3&page=1
http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/St...?sort=3&page=1
Here I have also some screenshots with Winamp in Windowshade Mode:
http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/St...?sort=3&page=1
I make my Winamp-Screenshots because of the very nice visualizer Milkdrop 2 (I have currently 3880 Winamp-Screenshots on my harddrive).
And I am looking again to my work now...

Is it possible to do some sort of compiler to function like this? So I can do a new set of color themes for a specific skin and distribute it with a installer like this one.

May be too hard to do? Or to learn how to?

Everything is possible, especially with NSIS. This is just simple installer that copying to user system a set of color themes. It is not difficult.

You can use whatever you want. To create above installer I used NSIS (http://nsis.sourceforge.net/Main_Page).

Ok, one more thing (now I realize I should've started with this..): Would you please share the files / scripts you used for this? I'm not so much into coding, but given a "base file" I can surely replace paths and parameters. I would really appreciate it, it would be really great so I won't be doing the same work you already did!

I am sorry. I do not share my code. I repeat, if you want to use NSIS, check its Examples directory, read documentation or use NSIS forum.

You have to open each xml file, copy the content (from <gammaset id="xxxxxx"> to </gammaset> -that would be beginning and ending of each theme) and paste it at the end of the colors file for Big Bento located at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Winamp\Skins\Big Bento\xml\color-presets.xml

No, that's actually not really the right way!

Far too complicated and your Themes will be gone the next time you update Winamp!

Here's the right way, much much easier:
Just download the .xml's and save them "as they are" into the following folder:

C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ColorThemes\Bento

(or ....\Big Bento for Big Bento).

If you have a 64bit System, the Program Files folder may be "Program Files (x86)".

If that doesn't work or you don't find the folder, try looking here:
%APPDATA%\Winamp

(enter this into the Address Bar of your Explorer Window).

This is the new location for the config files. From there you again go to Plugins, ColorThemes etc.

Best regards,
kzuse

Damn people is quick to point out other's mistake! :P So I'll stay in the same line haha;
You're wrong too, he asked for the xml, not the color themes installer (last xml files apparently are not included in the last two).
You're right about updates though, it's advised to backup that file (color-presets.xml) in case an update replaces it (which I'm not sure it does..).

He asked how to use "those .xml files", and that's how to use them, I think

I never installed the Themes installer, just grabbed two or three XMLs I like the most and placed them into that folder. Worked right away!

At least as far as I can remember, it's 6 years ago...

@ LeionKeY,
I am interested very much in Your Bento Color Theme from Post #293. It looks so beautiful. with Red & Yellow & Orange. Can I or we all have the PHP-Code or the XML-file here? Please post it here. Would you make for me (for us all) a joy?...
I have created a new XML-file with Notepad++ from the downloaded XML-files and the PHP-Codes, which have been posted here after the 26th October 2011. My new saved XML-file has the file-name "Forum_Members_2012_and_after", and I wish to integrate Your Bento Color Theme into my XML-file. I will edit my file again. I have planned to copy & paste it into the right locations in Winamp, of course...

PS, I have downloaded also the screenshots from here, not only the XML-files, then I can look to the beautiful screenshots, whenever I want...

Edit: I have decided to upload this XML-file to Mediafire. I can edit and update my files, I can replace a file on Mediafire, and the download-link will be the same, with the updated file. Editing a post is only possible for a few hours, it is better to post the download-link. I think, in this case it is okay to take all new themes together into 1 file and to share them again:

Pawel, I hope, Your Winamp Color Themes installer and Your Winamp Icon Packs will be still available on Your website.

I have edited my blog & notices in Last.fm & Facebook and I have added the download-link from post #313 below:

Well Sabine, we're still here and glad of it.

This theme is a re-make of one I couldn't post half year ago. It died together with my laptop, so in Sabine's request here it is!

I hope you like it!

Thank You, LeionKeY.

Just edited my .xml-file "Forum_Members_2012_and_after" and replaced it on Mediafire, it has to be redownloaded. I will copy & replace the file in both subfolders "Bento" & Big Bento" later, after I have left the live shows...

Yes, we are still here, maybe because Planet Earth will not end...
