Shoutcast Stream Structure?!

Hi, I'm working on a small project for myself to get a Shoutcast-Stream through my webserver. I'm using PHP and everything just works fine but i can't figure out where the metadata is.

Perhaps someone could tell me. After connecting to shoutcast server i receive the icy-headers + a blank line then binary data begins. I heard something about:

Stream:
Quote:
<-- [10 lines header] [blank row] [8192 bytes Audio] [1 byte metalength multiplier] [metadata] [8192 bytes audio] ...
But it doesnt seems to work for me

btw. can i see the metadata in the stream or is it encoded?!

Metadata is plain text, at least when I used Ethereal to sniff for it.

Your mileage may vary!

After seeing the data in text, I can't really help. There is another thread in here that explained a little about the metadata format.

Your mileage may vary!
